The climate of Hungary is temperate continental.

Annual precipitation is about 600 mm.
Spring arrives early in April and usually ends in showers. May is probably the most pleasant month to visit the country.
The summer is very hot and humid. Most Hungarians leave for the Lake Balaton to spend the week’s last days in their
weekend house or a rented apartment.
The weather is lovely in the first month of autumn,however it starts to get cold in October.Average temperature in September: between 7 and 23 Celsius
Winter in Hungary is cold and quite long. Snow usually falls a few times, most commonly in January. |
